This notice explains, in plain words, what we collect when you use this site, why, and what you can do about it. It follows the spirit of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
Only what a form asks for: your name, phone number, constituency or mandal, and optionally your email. We do not ask for voter ID, Aadhaar or caste.
If you only read the site, we collect nothing about you. Analytics are off unless you accept them in the cookie notice.
Why we collect it
To send you updates about Arshad's work and, if you tick the separate box, to contact you about volunteering. Each purpose has its own unticked box. We use your data for nothing else.
How long we keep it
Until you withdraw consent, or 12 months after your last contact with us, whichever is first.
Who sees it
Arshad's office and the people it authorises to run this site. We do not sell your data. Service providers that process data for us are limited to our website host (Cloudflare) and the email delivery service that forwards contact-form messages to the office.
Your rights
You can ask to see what we hold, correct it, delete it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Reply STOP to a message, or use the Contact page.
You may also nominate another person to exercise these rights for you.
Children
This site is not meant for children. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian before sharing any details.
Complaints
Write to us through the Contact page, choosing "Grievance or data request". If you are not satisfied with the reply, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India once it is operational.
